This product will "look" out of shape (some say faulty) when you first take it out of the box. But please do not be alarmed, it is NOT faulty.
This is a pressure mounted gate, so as you screw the 4 sides tighter and "push" against the walls that you are installing this gate on, it will gradually straighten up and look "normal".
